Carolyn G. Hochberg, Esq.

Ms. Hochberg graduated from Nova University, Shepard Broad Law Center in 1992 and is a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Broward Bar Association, the Southern Florida Apartment Association, and serves as a Board Member for the Broward Country Landlord Association/ Florida Landlord Action Group. Ms. Hochberg has represented thousands of clients as lead and co-counsel in the areas of landlord-tenant law, real estate closings, foreclosures, condominium law, and general civil litigation in addition to providing civil trial support for the firm. In the field of landlord-tenant law, Ms. Hochberg has developed the firm’s systems of expeditiously handling residential evictions, assisting landlords and tenants in making informed decisions concerning landlord-tenant related issues. Prior to informing the Law Firm of Hochberg & DiRienzo, P.A., Ms. Hochberg was employed as a Senior Attorney with the Florida Department of Children and Families and Staff Attorney with the United States Small Business Association.

 

Skip A. DiRienzo, Esq.

Mr. DiRienzo graduated from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, magna cum laude, in 1995 where he served as Articles Editor and Executive/ Managing Editor of The Nova Law Review for two years in addition to participating in the Moot Court Society. Mr. DiRienzo was the recipient of the Best Appellate Brief Award in the First Year Moot Court competition in addition to earning several academic awards, including Dean’s List and excellence in the field of Real Property. Presently, Mr. DiRienzo is the firm’s managing partner and has represented hundreds of clients as lead and co-counsel in the areas of landlord-tenant law, real estate closings, condominium law, bankruptcy, collection matters, civil litigation, and appeals. Mr. DiRienzo is a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the Broward Bar Association, the Southeast Florida Apartment Association, and the Broward Country Landlord Association/ Florida Landlord Action Group. Additionally, Mr. DiRienzo is an agent for the Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund, Inc., Which underwrites the firm’s title insurance policies. Prior to forming the firm, Mr. DiRienzo, was an associate in the law Firm of Jonathan M. Sabghir, P.A., where he practiced predominantly in the area of federal and state employment discrimination law.
